NICEIC Domestic Visual Condition Report

The domestic visual condition report can only report on the fixed electrical installation that can be physically seen within a dwelling, for example, condition of the socket outlets, lighting pendants etc. The visual survey does not include checks on any equipment with a plug attached ( portable appliances)

The completed NICEIC domestic visual condition report cannot be used to confirm and does not state or infer complete electrical safety within a dwelling.

Why use a visual inspection?

Many customers use the report to gain a general view of the current visual state of the electrical installation with a dwelling

Budget: Typical price for a visual inspection report is around £65

Convenience: There is minor disruption to the power supply as the inspection has a duration of approximately 45 minutes

NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition Report (E.I.C.R)

The NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition report identifies and details departures from the wiring regulations according to a numbered scale from 1 to 3.
